Happy Birthday Daughter Dear . . .
Today is our daughter's ??th birthday. I'm not brave enough to put a number on it lol. When I asked her what she wanted for her gift, she asked for a cauldron - as you do!! So, I spent some at the lathe before we went away making her gift and then we posted it on our way south. In addition to the cauldron, I made a few goodies for my 'witch' to throw into it and also a couple of wands. The frogs are a third of the size of the last ones I made so they were a bit of a challenge. Rebekah's older brother has a 3D printer, so he printed out a spider for me to put on the front of the cauldron. I also made her a card using 'Stampin Ups' Posy Punch stamp set and punch, and the Bigshot's Tasteful Trim to embellish it. I finished the card with a generic 'Happy Birthday' stamp.
Before I wrote this blog, Rebekah reported that she loved her gift. I hope she and the children enjoy playing with it. In conjunction with her married surname, it really is a perfect gift for her. Next time I am in the North Island I might be able to see it in use.
