Sharing my retirement journey . . .

I have been considering writing a blog for some time so I could share my discoveries, passions and love of food processing. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing rows of jars and bottles filled from our own garden and orchard. My woodturning, crochet and other crafts will also fill my pages. What better time is there to start than right now as I begin this new chapter of my life. First day of a new month, first day of sharing!!

By sharing my journey into retirement, it will also give me another way to communicate with others. I may bore you all to tears with my waffling, but you have the choice to log in or not lol. I am planning on having a very happy and fulfilled retirement.

 

Delivering completed orders . . .

In the last couple of days I have completed two crochet orders.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar finger puppets for Megan.

It is always a challenge when you have to invent the pattern as you go. However, I’m quite pleased with how the puppets turned out.
