Cup Cakes . . .
When we went down south to help Alex move farms, I took Addison some pink cupcakes. She was delighted with them, but quickly told me that she would also like a pink, blue and yellow one as well. I assured her I would make her some and pop them into the post. This I did and also made her an orange one too. Playing with crocheted cupcakes is one thing but I thought she would also like to cook some as well. I bought her a box of Edmonds cupcakes to make with her Mum and sprinkles to decorate them. Nichole sent photos of Addison receiving the cupcakes and then of her busily baking. It is times like this, that I really wish we lived closer to her. Sadly, Invercargill is just too far away.
Happy Birthday Alex . . .
Making the most of totally filling a post bag, I also added a card and gift for Alex's birthday at the end of the week. Bruce bought Alex a tyre for one of his vehicles, I decided that was not such an exciting birthday gift. So along with some chocolate, I turned a foot massager for him - also probably not that exciting lol - but made with love. I also made a card. I have a fully equipped craft room and really need to make better use of all that I have available to me. I used a tractor stamp and a stamp out of both the Stampin' Up 'Bring on the Cake' stamp sets. These are such versatile stamp sets for birthday cards.
