New Hat . . .

Today I finished crocheting myself a new pure wool hat. My darling husband informed me that it looked like a tea cosy. I wanted a firm fitting one, so it would be warm and cosy. I decided to crochet a flower to go on it and then wanted a button to go in the middle of it. I headed over to the workshop to make a button on the lathe. Once I had turned a piece of wood round, I made a button and also a few more for the upcoming craft fair. When I put the flower on the hat it sort of disappeared, so I edged it with a plain colour. It is cosy to wear, regardless of what anyone else thinks lol.
