First Day of Retirement . . .

Today is the beginning of Bruce's journey into retirement. I thought he might have a slow start into the day, but I was wrong. He got up just after 3am, worrying about whether he had left everything sorted out for the next person to do his job. I guess it will take a while before he stops thinking about his old job.

Apart from taking Finney to the vet for a follow-up check after her dental treatment, making a large pot of his delicious bacon and vegetable soup, and moving the cattle Bruce has had a fairly restful day. With far more than one Poppa nap.
